JG Garcia Dominican Cacao, SRL was founded in 2017 by Ing. James García Torrente in Paraje El Rancho, Vicentillo, El Seibo. After a market study among local growers we brought together 108 organic cacao producers farming roughly 437 hectares, and built our own processing plant so their harvest could be exported directly.

Beans arrive at our fermentary within hours of harvest, are boxed and turned on a fixed schedule, then dried on concrete floors, drying tables and our artificial drying area depending on the weather.

We are not a broker. Every container we ship is one we handled, so we can tell you which producer, which week and which drying yard a lot came from.
